Japan's First Western Geisha
This is so crazy. She’s been training since she was fifteen years old. And I pretty much understood all the training because of Golden’s book Memoirs of a Geisha The other book that I can always read over and over again.

Opera
Yestrerday I watched Barber of Seville at the LA opera. It was surprisingly very light, and very funny. Unfortunately I fall asleep easily and still fell asleep…honestly I am so unworthy to watch beautiful masterpieces. If you know that composition “Marriage of Figaro” this is where it is from.  Basically Figaro saying what he does and why he’s the best and everyone...

Best Gift Ever = Best Boyfriend (for now)
Yesterday I went to the San Diego Zoo for the first ( of many times) time. And it was amazing fun. Watching the animals, making up commentary for them, watching the different people, and watching kids. I especially loved watching old couples walking around and sitting and watching animals on a bench. I hope to be one of them someday. The favorite animals of the day  were the elephants...

Oh Shit.
I’m screwed. Chemistry is going my butt tomorrow. I just want to go to sleep… I think I probably will in 2 hours, because I can’t do anything else. I’m so pathetic. I will study everything else besides chemistry. I act like I don’t have chemistry which is nice in the present, but for the future that has become present: it is not.

Biofeedback
a process of making patients aware of specific physiological functions that ordinarily, they would not notice consciously, such as heart rate, blood pressure, muscle tension in specific ares of the body, electroencephalogram rhythms (brain waves), and patters of blood flow. Why do we need to pay for a therapist to help us do this? It should just be a mandatory class. So that we can ALL feel like...

The law specified that 20 percent of the proceeds were to be designated for programs designed to prevent and reduce tobacco use, especially among children” -My Public Health Book …buy cigarettes to help research to prevent and reduce tobacco use?
